I had some really bad news the moment I came down the mountain…

Nothing is by coincidence…

I had been climbing to the summit for 14 hours… Had an hours rest then another 3 hours…

In this time I was hit hard by altitude… I couldn’t keep anything down, even a sip of water…

When I got low enough to regain some coherence and had Wi-Fi I glanced at my phone…

Bombshell…

But I knew this was as I had just reached a new limit, new challenges await…

Like going up a grade in school, a belt colour in martial arts or lifting heavier weights in the gym…

The universe responds to our internal state…

We are not victims of our lives…

It depends how you choose to see it…

If there was no audience, no one to tell…would you ever think of yourself as a victim or would you just get on with it?

BUT, this does not mean it’s easy…

So here are my top tips that I have been using to delve deep when I thought I may have to fly home, and am still getting daily messages from people with more ‘bad’ news:

❤️ Feel, come to the body, what are you feeling and where? You don’t have to label it. But open up to feeling it not numbing or dissociating…

❤️ Breathe, deeply, right down in to your tummy. Keep. Coming back to your breathe and slowing it down…

❤️ Look at your surroundings, stay in the present moment and focus on what’s in front of you to stop your mind swirling…

❤️ Remind yourself that if life is always (!) working in your favour what is the message in the mess? Even if you can’t see it yet, the heaviest weights build strong muscles…

This is ultimately how we heal, become free, light, strong and able to help others in so many ways.

And, live a juicy life where we don’t fear risks, challenges or opportunities!

Big Love,

Helen ❤️❤️❤️
